  remains of the former Head of Service to the federation, Adamu Fika, who died on Wednesday, has been laid to rest in Kaduna State.
The former Head of Service died at the age of 90.

The funeral prayer, which was held at the Sultan Bello Mosque in the Kaduna State capital, was led by a prominent Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi.

Among the dignitaries present at the funeral prayer include the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, who led the Federal Government delegation and a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babagana Kingibe, among other personalities.
In his tribute on behalf of President Bola Tinubu, Ribadu described the late Adamu Fika as a patriotic Nigerian who contributed immensely to the development of the country especially the civil service.

The late Fika served as a Permanent Secretary of the Police Affairs Department, Ministry of Communication and Federal Capital Territory.
